Pei Wei Asian Diner in Houston

Staff was very short, not a single smile. Not very clean. Food was decent but they forgot the garnish of lime on my plate. Also observed an employee drinking from an open cup while preparing food which is a health code violation. Manager needs to be more proactive.

Very disappointed. Veggies are spoiled and smelled bad. We didn’t realize it at first and ate few. Later, my husband was sick all night.

Great place for pickup or dine in. They have a gluten free menu which has more options in the restaurant than they do online. We had the Kung pao and it was really good. We go here very often because of their gluten free options. They actually care about allergens here!

Our first time, we were impressed with menu selection, but underwealmth with food presentation and quality. We ordered two bento boxes, with ginger chicken, broccoli and cauliflower as well as brown rice.The sushi was old, the chicken tasted old, and rubbery. The salad was a cheap iceberg lettuce mix with too much shredded carrots. The California roll had sweet pickles in it, eewww. No avocado. The wasabi was old an crusty on the outside. They gave me cauliflower rice when I specifically asked for brown rice. The meal just looked generic and not worth what we paid for. Very overpriced. Two stars for menu selection.

I visit Pei Wei pretty regularly for their gluten free options. I've been to this location twice now and have no complaints. There is plenty of space in the lot to park, the restaurant is clean on the out side and inside, ordering is easy and pleasant. I like that they pull the sun shades down when it's too bright outside. My food arrives in a timely manner and both times I've been, someone came by to check if everything was alright. Overall, would recommend this location.

Pie Wei is a little hidden treat...lettuce wraps and orange chicken. Love the iced Chai tea. Enrique is very nice and accommodating.

The service is amazing. The food is good and the place is always clean.

Drinks ran out. Limited drinks. Foods were good. Drinks didn't live up to my tastes without my fave drink.

Do not eat here this place doesn't know how to wash there dishes right. I was working there for two days I noticed that many the supposed clean dishes had leftover debris on the shelves. Not to mention the dish washing machine does not have the dishes come out clean so you have to rinse them to have them come out right. They let me go for supposedly being a slow dishwasher when I was doing things right for people to eat there. beware of eating in this place because their dishes are not clean right.

First time I’ve ever been disappointed with Pei Wei. Ordered the lettuce wraps, Mongolian beef, and chicken fried rice online for delivery. Received the food in about 50 mins. The lettuce was brown and slimy, and although the chicken for the wraps was tasty, there wasn’t very much of it. The fried rice was pretty bland and the chicken was rubbery. We didn’t attempt to eat the Mongolian beef because it emitted a very pungent chemical odor when we opened the container.

Very Wonderful Experience Today At Pei Wei! The Manager on duty attended My Son and I this evening and gave us The VIP Treatment! Didn’t know I could get that at Pei Wei! He Truly Honors Veterans that serve Our Country! Food was Excellent also! What a Blessing Tonight! I Salute you😁🎩🌟

Haven't been to a Pei Wei in a few years but they're really made some great changes. Price/meat portions has become much better and the quality is still there. First time in years I've eaten ever piece of chicken on my plate at a Chinese restaurant. This location is in a nice spot too. Easy in and out and the wait was quicker than they quoted

It was the most "okayest" Pei Wei I've ever had the displeasure of eating. Strange sewer gas smell by the drink machines, sub-par service, and for lunch time, it was slow. Says all I need to know about what the locals think.

First time here and worth it. Nice crew, clean place. Nice for a lunch break at work. Got a teriyaki Beef with fried rice and was great, they grill it at the moment. Regular prices and coca Cola machine and tea. Recommended

The food was alright but the service was great. Didnt really enjoy the food like i wanted to but it wasnt bad either. It was cooked right and everything the taste just seemed to be off.

Service was good. My meal was disappointing. I ordered the Orange Chicken with brown rice bowl. I don't know if the chicken was cooked all the way through. So I will see how I feel later this evening. I wish the restaurant looked cleaner. Outside, there was an area by the front door where someone got sick. I used to like Pei Wei but it's not the same standards anymore. Maybe it's just the Voss location. There are lots of options in the area so I think Pei Wei needs to step it up to complete.

Order side of veggies. Served rotten snow peas in dynamite dish and when questioned served up another batch with the same rotten snow peas. They were spotted brown and black with wasted sections of rot. Cookes and with some rotten areas trimmed. General Manager explained he had been delivered bad product. So I guess that means you and I get it. NEVER GO HERE. TERRIBLE PEOPLE serving rotten food. I asked the Cook to eat it and he grabbed it and threw it away before i could take a picture.

Cheap pretty good fast service

Good food as always and the restaurant was pretty clean. Food came out pretty fast as well. Typical Pei Wei menu; I always get the Honey Seared Chicken with Noodles, which is a great option for picky eaters like me. I always get mine with an extra side of sauce because they don’t ever put enough on. It usually comes with dry noodles and honey sauce only on the chicken.

This location is very clean and the staff treated us well. It was not too busy it looked as if most people just ordered online to pick up meaning there is little to no wait on your food we went during dinner and had food withing 10 minutes of ordering

Been going here for 8 years- food is good and cheap. It's pretty cozy inside. Since the remodel their forks, napkins, plates, etc. Have been of cheaper quality but you get what you pay for. Staff are nice and helpful.

Pei-Wei's new Thai Mango Steak dish is the bomb! Definitely a repeat for me :)

My order came out wrong at first no big deal it happens. The person I was with their chicken came out raw. Not a little raw multiple pieces came out raw. I took the pieces up to the staff my order still was not out at this point. I tried to stay quiet and ask for a simple refund so we could just leave. The serve came up to the table being very loud asking what was wrong. I was not trying to cause a scene, but I feel that that is what happened with the waiter being loud. Got our refund and left.

From my last visit to this restaurant, it sticks out in my mind is that the cashier was very courteous. I really enjoyed that. The food at this restaurant is good. As you would expect from this chain. The restaurant I remember it was very clean and I didn't have to wait very long for my food which is always appreciated.

Pei Wei is what happens when P F Chang's and In N Out Burger have offspring. The food is not as good as Chang's but it's fast and better than most fast food Asian restaurants I've tried. The Pad Thai was the temperature of the sun and took 15 minutes to cool to the point where I wouldn't get first degree burns - the taste was okay though a little on the oily side. Portions are huge so a half-portion can be split between two for lunch. The table-cleaning guy was super-enthusiastic and friendly and deserved tipping which I noticed nobody else did. I might try this again another day but the 3 pounds of noodles left me in a food coma this afternoon.

Worst fried rice I have ever had by far, the rice was crunchy, definitely not fresh.

I was very disappointed with this resturant. It took about 20 minuets to get our food even though there wasn't anyone in front of us. When we finally got our food it the mushrooms in our Mongolia beef were cold and uncooked. The manager was very nice and brought us everything again. However, with so many Chinese restaurants that are way cheaper I won't be returning.

Good option for a quick bite. Decent prices. WhatI really love is the variety and how you can mix and match everything. Want tofu and veggies with that flavor? No problem. You can choose noodles, brown or white rice. You can see people cooking so you worry less about the source of your food. Staff is friendly.
